    Sun setting

    Thoughts? too washed out? I kind of like the contrast

    I like the contrast too (it's my thing!) but the sun appears to bright to me. It's distracting IMO. But I'm light sensitive so it may just be my natural reaction. I love the foreground!

    Very good composition. The shore/tree line provides an interesting variation on internal framing. The picture leads you into it and is expansive as it moves in the 'natural' direction.

    There is some artifacting on the water from sharpening or as a result of JPEG compression that is a little severe. I don't feel it is washed out at all. The sky might be exhibiting some noise (perhaps from the same things as the water).

    Nice balance of light/dark and colors.
