    Summerhouse at The Vyne
Another great English property in the tender care of the National Trust. This is a summerhouse and gardens found at The Vyne in Hampshire. The large house was built in the 1630s for William Sandys Lord Chamberlain to King Henry VIII (the fellow who had 6 wives !!!). The summerhouse was built a bit later - and is heading for some renovation. For those interested The Vyne is a magnificent house with peaceful walks in woodland and around the lake. With a sunny but slightly overcast day - I caught the summerhouse lit up by bright sunshine - but with dark clouds gathering.

    Thanks,folks.

This is one of those picture-perfect, pretty scenes that is hard to criticize and hard to say 'wow' over. Everything seems to fit nicely in the frame, but here's a case where I do think a person in the frame, perhaps in a contrasting color jacket or something, would add some life and sense of size to your image. Good shot that needs just a bit of something else to make it a great shot, in my opinion.
