    Twisty Model

Another variation on this model and her crazy mask . This one seems to have a little more personality than the last.

The lighting ,.. I'm just not sure with it ... your feelings?

I think you could have more lighting at her right side and the background ... yellowy hue is just irregular to my eyes.

The shadow on the right (is that from the softbox?) is a bit distracting too.

I don't mind the light falling in front.

Yeah, I tend to agree that the background shadows are a distraction. Not fatal, but it would be better if they're not there. I don't know a good way to remove them - ideas? I also would prefer if the background was ~ 2 stops over the model, but I am still learning this stuff.

You got it - a softbox that apparently didn't fire (?) I had a few technical issues at this shoot, need to get my act together

Yeah the right shoulder is a bit dark given the rest of the tone. After that I would get rid of the beer and extend this canvas with blended white about a third or more farther to the left. I think you could make a screen saver masterpiece.

Daq, not sure, her right shoulder doesn't bother me because having a little dark/light in the photo gives it some mood. I think the shadow coming off her front boot works to create that, too. Yeah that beer is a wildcard .. I will try what you suggest and repost it here. Having a lot of negative space on (our) left may do some interesting things to the photo.

Phil, I'll look at the stamp tool. I am never able to get it 100% with those clone tools and always have to blur it a bit to get it to look right. I selected and blurred the background here actually to get rid of all the little scuffs (there were just too many to individually remove)..............

I think this is one of the best photos you have posted The pose is brilliant and the lighting looks fine to me. The shadow on the right could be cloned out. I can live with the bottle but I would prefer it on it's side.
    Very well done.

Thanks Tom. I think I will give the cloning a try. That's an interesting idea about the side-laying bottle She had some cool poses and we just used stuff like the mask, red things, etc that lying around the studio to spice it up. I just wish we had a better chair, but it works
