Such a face

Chance capture, sitting in my wifes lap. This is basically a crop only. I did however clone out the tip of my wifes thumb in the lower left hand corner by the toy. As a 9 week old pup, it is hard to capture him in a good way. I was using flash as light was getting low. Background is wifes t-shirt which, to me, was a perfect background. What do you all think.
As usual, please feel free to adjust my pic and show and tell me your ideas for improving this shot.

I only wish the big orange toy ball thingie was in better focus. Guess you can't have everything.

It is a cute image but the strong shadow from the direct flash is distracting.

Next time try a diffuser or bounce flash.
