I envy people who take street scenes. I like the B&W treatment here, nice contrast and patterns. Great expressions on their faces. The only thing that bothers me about this image is the background shape in the middle of the two men. My eye is constantly drawn away from them and right to it. It almost looks like another face, just grotesque. Maybe a little Twilight Zoneish, the man on the rights alter ego also taking part in the conversation.

Street shots are tough all right, I like this one the conversion is really nice. The bokeh looks a bit much but still a nice shot. Did you add blur?

Great subjects, but I agree that the background could use a bit o tweeking (not much, just a bit)

Street photography could be tough especially when people are the main subjects. That's why I try :)

Then again its tough because many viewers could look at the photographs and wonder: "Huh? What's that about?" Especially when many of them are not necessarily eye-pleasing shots.

Greg: no, I didn't blur the background. It's as is other than the brightness, which I reduced somewhat.
