    Still trying... (B&W)

I've seen some great B&W's here, I'm just trying to get close.

It took me a while to understand what she (I'm assuming she) was doing in the shot. There has to be a really good reason to shoot the back of a subject's head. I also agree that it is very blurry.

The more we post, the more we learn. I certainly do.

    Seems like you were rushing...

Of course the photo is out of focus, I don't need to tell you how to fix that. As for the composing, I like her general position in the shot. She could use a little more space behind her though. You need to have her facial expression to make the photo "work" though. A profile from a worms eye view would have been more interesting.

Gotta disagree w/Dylan though. I think the subject is very appropriate. Kids were blowing bubbles back before color photos and they will (hopefully) blowing bubbles 50 years from now. Therefore you have a timeless photo. Just gotta work on composing it a little better.

Lacking focus no doubt but had we been able to see some bubbles then this shot would have so much potential. Shooting from behind, in this case, makes for a great effort.

    Re: Still trying... (B&W)

Looking at the original picture before I re-sized it, it does not seem to have the blur like it does here. How can I re-size my pictures and keep the sharpness when I post them here?
