Starry Night--sort of
I took this shot back in November when we had a lunar eclipse. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the eclipse, but I did get this fun (and a little creepy) long exposure shot. I like the movement of the clouds in the shot, leaving a streaky texture to the photo. I also like how the light on the trees is coming from below, rather than from above (it was from my house lights). I tweaked the contrast and color a bit in Paint Shop Pro.
Tech: Nikon N80, 28-70 lens, F2.8, Kodak HD400 film

Wow.
Awesome moment you captured. The only thing I might change is to crop a little bit off the left edge (maybe 15 or 20px worth) so there isn't quite as much "tree cluster" relative to the sky. Also, I'd "cheat" and photoshop all the little twiggy things on the right side out, by using the cloning or patch tools. Make it pure sky over there.
