Standing Alone
A tree that I found on Bunker Hill golf course in New Jersey. Now i know that some may be bored by the simplicity of this photo, but none the less I figured I'd put it out there and see what people think? Thanks for taking the time to look and comment. God bless

Re: Standing Alone
Some like simplicity, others don't.
I happen to be one that does.
I think this is very good and the only thing that bothers me is the contrail.

Agree. The contrail distracts from the simplicity.

Re: Standing Alone
Thanks, Yeah your right is does take away from the natural feel of the photo. What can ya do though the plane just had to pass by at that time.:-) Well I'm still learning I've only done photography stuff for a year now and I'm still not graduated from high school yet so I have some time to work on the skill.

Sometimes life gets in the way. When it does.... clone it out. :)

Re: Standing Alone
I really like what I see here, the sky is a beautiful saturated evening blue and the wisps of clouds fading into the solid sunset color are a perfect contrast to the sky. The tree adds nice foreground interest to the scene. This could be very good, unfortunately the contrails distract me from the scene.

Re: Standing Alone
Contrails are a matter of debate - in some pictures they work, in others they don't. I agree with the others that in this case it doesn't. Time for cloning methinks!!
Apart from that it's a lovely capture. The best images are frequently the simplest ones.
I look forward to seeing more of your work - you very definitely have "the eye".
Cheers
