Spring evening...
I'd like some CC on this, please. I thought I'd posted it earlier so if it shows up twice...I'm sorry!

Re: Spring evening...
This looks like something that should have been shot at a different time of day. It appears that you are using a flash? If I'm correct, the flash (or another form of external lighting) is killing the color potential of the scene. Go back if you can and simply shoot it with natural sunlight.
Next, there are a lot of vertical lines in this shot but all are tilted to the right plus the odd pitch of the roof is amplifying the illusion of the tilt. You can fix the tilt by using the rotation menu item in PS. I would use arbitrary rotation so you can plug in .5 counter clockwise.
So with natural sunlight and added saturation the color will improve. Level the shot as well. If possible try different angles like shoot low to the ground and give some space around your subject. The house is pretty close to the right.
I see potential with this subject.
IMO :D

Re: Spring evening...
Thank you - I'll try it again in natural light. It was close to dark when I shot it.

Re: Spring evening...
While I agree that natural lighting would help make the colors pop, the main problem I see here is the tilt. I would suggest using the straightening tool (PSE 4.0 has one, I don't know about other software). I would make sure the balcony is straight and hopefully that will make the rest of the image seem right, but with the eccentricity of the house and the angle of the shot, I am not sure that it will work. This is a very pleasant little cottege and a promising subject for future work (I'll bet it looks fantastic in the fall!)
