    The Sphere
This is part two of an experiment I tried sometime ago. This is one of those cool lamps that have a central electrode inside a plastic sphere which changes appearance depending on how you touch them. Rays come from the elctrode and strike the surface of said sphere. The appearance of these rays is smoky with a bluish color and are constantly moving and changing.

    What you think about this?

I don't see anything particularly exciting, it's just another plasma ball.
It's centred, presumably you were using the centre AF point.
I think the main problem you have is depth of field, you have to open the lens wide to get enough light in for a short exposure, and use high ISO, so getting it sharp is difficult.

Of them all I like the 3rd best, with the image of the hand behind.
But I think it's over exposed because the streamers have lost their blue colour.

Sorry you didnt found it "exciting". I had fun doing it. LOL!

First the lamp in itself is quite small, to show it I had to center the ball in the pic. Other way it would have looked odd. I learned that getting it in focus is very difficult indeed. I tried the autofocus, the manual focus, diff apertures, ISO's...
