    Sorry were Closed

One I spotted on my way home a couple of days ago. Let me know what you think.

    Re: Sorry were Closed

There are so many nice things about this photo. The linear composition. The trees in the reflection that seem to correspond to the trees on her t-shirt. The b/w which also suggests quaint towns.
My one complaint is the two posters/pages taped to the window. I keep getting drawn to them. I think cropping or cloning would solve that.
And maybe if she wasn't looking down.

The stone work and bricks look a tad to dark it would be nice if you could separate the seat from the wall otherwise fine shot.

I agree about the two 8.5x11 papers and dodging the stonework a bit, but I like this one a lot overall. Has a very "Tuna" feel to it.

As usual, i like what you captured here and the composition is right on. I might agree about the papers, but really not fussing over that. My only real gripe is the extremely high contrast with lack of shadow detail. If you can tweak some more out of the darks I think it will help what is already a nice photograph.

I lightened the bricks in Channel mixer in Light room. I hope this helps. I agree about the papers as well, maybe I will try cloning them and see,

Looks vintage, apart from the Nexus sign, and the two papers. I like it.

Thank AnthonyH, and again Thanks all. I have always felt my street skills were sub-par and I have been working hard to get better at it. Your input is greatly appreciated.
The older I get the less I like to clone things as well.

The second edit is great! My only complaint about the first was that it was too dark.

With out the papers the window would look a bit like negative space not sure if that would improve anything The change in wall lighting really helps

    Re: Sorry were Closed

Papers don't bother me...just part of reality which is what street photography is about, isn't it?
The dark areas didn't bother me either as it make the photo look more vintage.
You did a nice job on the lightening and I like it but not better than the dark, nor less.
Don't know what else you could have done better.
Perfect for b/w and composition looks good to me. I think the woman is places well in the frame.
    Keep Shooting!

Draymorton, Pete, Frog Thanks. I think the Nexus sign bugs me more than anything, but as you say Frog " That is what street photography is."
