Lilly, an attempt of some close up

Took this today, it just opened up. I used a Sigma 24mm Zuiko manual focus with a 2x converter to kive the effect of an extension tube. 1/180 at f22 with 2xOlympus T32 flashguns at full output to try and maintain DOF.

    What do you think?

Need to get some part in sharp focus, its kinda soft all over. Noting beats a true macro lens for this type of work.

Also, not sure I like the use of flash in this.

    Just my opinions.

On my monitor it looks like it's under-exposed. Composition-wise I would crop some off the right (see the dark triangular hole on the right?). I would do some post-processing and sharpen it.

I think it's far better than my first attempt at flower close-ups, but that said AE has given you some very good advice for improvement. I believe sharpening without overdoing it will help this shot immensely. Love the color though!
