    My Baby Gator

Jetrim's post inspired me to post one of mine. I've had two dissenting opinions on this one. One person said that there's too much grass, the other said that him being almost hidden is what makes the shot. If nothing else, it would make a great jigsaw puzzle. Thoughts?

There's too much grass if you want a gator portrait.
If you want a gator in its natural surroundings its fine.
Light's rather harsh but sometimes you have to shoot when you can.

Bad light & not enough focus on the subject.

Maybe try a tight crop on the head?
