#1 You really need to get all of the dog in the frame, cutting off the back legs doesn't help here. Not easy when these little characters move around so quickly.

I'm okay with showing the dog's backside. That's what the photo is all about -- the dog walking alongside and looking up expectantly at the owner -- and you nailed it.
The first one is too tightly cropped. For me, anyway.

I see what you both mean about the first. It's tough getting her haha she's so fast. I suppose these shots were more for fun that day. I was curious. I am certainly more aware on what to try and avoid. So thank you!

agree with the comments above, also I think it lacks some speed so the dog fur is sharper
shooting running dogs is hard !
