In the Sirup Grove
One more from this past weekend in sirup land. (See other post for spelling reasons).
Oh, comments are certainly welcome.

Re: In the Sirup Grove
Hmm, interesting idea here. Though I like the idea of the unfocused area, I would've switched it around, focusing on the foreground and leaving the background blurry. Right now, it just seems very percuilar to have that large, slightly unfocused thing in the foreground. Great shot but can be better!

Hello drg,
I agree with jar_e here. Your composition is good (I like the point of view) but the dof feels wrong. Right now, I get the impression that the big tree at the left would be your main subject while it shouldn't be the case.

Hi drg,
You have a nice subject & idea. I agree with the focus critque above. Here's an example of what an alternate focus could've done. I hope you don't mind.

Re: In the Sirup Grove
Nice framing of this and it certainly makes an interesting scene. I agree with others that the focal point needs to be on the tin in the foreground. The bg does not need to be losing focus as it looks fine sharp, but the foreground needs to be sharp as well.
