Reflections in the water and other photos from a hike

Went hiking again and took more photos. Let me know what you think.

    Cooling the drinks for lunch...

    That's all.

Nice Shots i like them all, but i have a problem with the Juicy juice one, i think maybe its just too long of a shot, the juice boxes are clear and great, but i think the highstretch takes a way from it, maybe to much blur, i just feel distracted, and the shot under it there is a black object near the tall grass on the left hand side, a black rock? maybe but my eyes keep focusing on it but, i love the colors and reflects in all these shots good work

I think the juicy juice is the best shot :P. All it needs are some grilled cheeses to go with it. Grilled cheeses and a Juicy Juice.

    Thanks.

As for the dark object in the rock reflection shot, I dont know what it is, I dont see it...

And if you like the Juicy Juice (and yes, that did keep them nice and cool for lunch), then you may just like this idea too!

The last 2 are my favorites. I especially like the way the water trails across & down the picture & the good capture of that movement.

as for the juicy juice - that's sad to see - the littering of pristine lands (unless you actually put them there & then removed to create that effect).

i like the water fall one the best. it has just enough blurr, and nothing around to distract from the actually falls.

the juicy juicy one works for me, although i'd like to see more of the boxes, with less distortion from the water.

and coachgns- the boxes were for their lunches, they put them in the water to cool, and later drank them, not trash.

Re: Reflections in the water and other photos from a hike

    Dave,

    All deserve comments.

    # 1 I really like due to the pattern effect. This is almost like looking at eggs in a carton but it is a natural shot. Very good.

    # 2 I like how you got the plant to illuminate against the dark background. The only part that is disappointing is the plant itself - seems to lack a hard edge to it, prob due to the lack of color. But you have to take what is there sometimes. Good work with what you had.

    # 3 I like the way you improvised wrt a subject. They're not the kind of subjects that will win contests, but if you're hungry Another good shot using what you had at your disposal. I cant see any way to improve it. The DOF is a smart move.

    # 4 Peaceful. But where is the alligator or crocidile? I just you're too far north.

    # 5 Great shot. I wouldnt change a thing.

    # 6 Very nice, but I gravitate towards the bottom 2/3s of the photo. I guess the bright area where the water is just starting to fall is distracting to me, and sort of less exciting than the rest. Perhaps you could expt with cropping that part out and see if it doesnt look chopped off.

All very good shots. Looks like a hike to remember.

Thanks for the comments. And yes, I put the Juice in the water, we drank them and packed everything out.
