I don't like the background but I do like the faint colors and composition

It's a little hard to figure it out. Is the focus soft on the foreground or is that just the shine? Hard for me to tell here. But yes, the color and softness is pretty nice. I think I would have taken a more straight-on angle instead to elim that background clutter. Good experiment.
