    I did some of these about a year ago. Messed with them in oil and water as well. I like the abstracts that they do. nice.

    That was my first criticism after posting. Is there a way to add more on top in PS? I will check for myself, but if anyone has insight......

    To add extra canvas for the top of this shot.

    First select the background colour on the panel then use the dropper to select a colour for the background. This will give you a background for the canvas.

    Then its image resize, add canvas, anchor the bottom so the canvas is only on top and select the measure, e.g. percent then add the amount you want on top into the box for height.

    Then tidy up and match the colours appropriately.
