    Shuttle Launch
This was taken with my old Minolta Maxxum 5 a few years ago.
This is a scan of my 4 x 6 and I brought it over to Photoshop for some cropping.
I had never posted the shot because it was taken from a hotel parking lot and had some palm tree branches and other distracting items in the shot. After playing with it last night in P.S., I would like your comments.

    thanks,

    Scott

Clean out the archives Scott. We enjoy seeing your shots. The slender crop is right for this photo. It puts all the focus on the shuttle and vapor trail. Houston- we have a keeper!

    Scott,

The definate vertical, tight crop works very well for this photo. The long slender look of it is very appealing. Smoke trail definately adds a great color and composition to this photo.

    Great shot!

Isn't the top of the smoke trail a little blown out!! Just kidding.

Excellent photo - one of my ambitions is to visit florida to see a launch; One day.

Very nice. Love your cropping with the tiny strip of water(?) at the bottom.

Thanks BamaFru, I have this cropped down to a 10" x 30" poster, framed in my office.
Originally from BAMA.........would like to see some So. AL shots from you.
Maybe a huge old oak with some moss. Or maybe one of those relaxing gulf coast sunsets.

    thanks,
