    Shrooms

Hi everyone........been sidetracked for a while. These have been growing in my yard, and instead of simply digging them up, I let 'em grow for a couple of days to see what would happen. C & C welcome.

Beautiful shrooms. Nice images, are they poisonous?

Too bad all the people who know how to run this country are busy running taxicabs or cutting hair.

#1 the light and the color is just wrong for me although the composition is nice.

#2 has the best color and #3 the best composition by far although I do wish it had the same greens as #2.

#3 is the one. At least one thumb up maybe 2. I'm thinking it could sell.
    No, I DON'T need that.

MB...#1 was taken at a different time of the day so I see what you're getting at. Thanks for the comments.

Jim, I don't believe they are, but I'm still not going to try to eat them.

    Re: Shrooms

John, #1 might look best as a b&w. #2 is ok, but I wish the main mushroom was more of a typical mushroomed shape. A more attractive schroom, if you will.
The 3rd is very good, but i wish it was not so tightly cropped on the sides.

    Re: Shrooms

Thanks for the input Gary. On #3, I wanted to keep a distracting element out of the shot, but after further review, it would've been better to just clone it out.

    Re: Shrooms

i like the composition on #1 and like Gary said 3 is cropped to close on the sides for me. i love finding shrooms just popping out of the ground and following their progress as they grow and spread their caps within just a few hours.

John, if you like, on #3 you can increase your canvas size and clone in the background to fill it in . This will open up the sides for you. The bg is simple and so it would not be too much to do.
