    Shooting through a fence

I think a photographer's worse enemy at the zoo is having to shoot through chain link fences. In some situations, with a narrow DOF you can make it disappear the best you can but most of the time it will be in the shot.

Can you live with this particular shot seeing the fence in the foreground?

    Thanks for your opinion.

If you cropped out the left lemur, I could live with it. I wouldn't have it framed but if it's the best lemur shot you have, keep it. If you get better shots at a later date, then you could toss this one.
I suppose it depends on the reason you take pictures. If you wanted a lemur shot, you have one. If you were trying to show off what your equipment is capable of, well it fails here.

It's kind of interesting... I agree with Bronc; you've got a lemur shot if you wanted one. I don't think the fence tottaly ruins it though. I like how it looks like the lemur on the left is poking his head through the fence. It took me a second to realize he wasn't, but it just looked that way. So considering you had to shoot through the fence, it's not a bad shot.
