    Leaf on Rock

Long time lurker first time poster. Recently received a canon xsi from the wife for an upgrade to my powershot which I had outgrown and i'm sure the newborn had something to do with it as well. Its a huge upgrade over my powershot that was starting to show its age and I had definitely grown out of it.

So here is one of my favorite shots from the first roll. Taken with the kit lens in AV mode. I'm really enjoying the camera. Can't wait to see what it can do when I really learn to use it.

Thanks and I couldn't agree more. I didn't review the photo enough on camera and noticed the rest of the water beads were out of focus once I had the image on the puter, doh!. Lesson learned.

Nice photo of your civic, i'll have to get some photos of my wrx up here after I get a photoshoot done.

I will also agree on the DOF, but the overall capture is excellent. Great comp and POV along with the touch of color in a neutral environment.
