From a short camping trip I made to the Salton Sea over the weekend. Although this was the best I have ever seen the SS - no fish die this time - there were still a number of old fish carcasses washed up on shore. I broke out the macro, walked around and snapped away.
Not the prettiest sight, but, all part of life, I suppose. Some pix show that the shoreline is largely composed of fish (tilapia) bones.
I threw in the last one to show it isn't all bad there. I caught a single file bird convoy that lasted a good minute. I don't know why they 'bumped' up like you see in the middle area.. maybe they caught a thermal.
