Seaside Serenity
After watching Florida's top 10 beaches tonight on the Travel Channel, I had to pull out the photos from last summers trip to beautiful Seaside, FL.
I took this one from the porch of the little house we stayed in.
Needless to say, I have beach fever again!
All comments are welcome.
thanks,

Re: Seaside Serenity
Great shot, Scott. Nice tones, and great framing. All the vertical lines and parralel lines here are dazzling. It is bordering on being too busy, but your composition here brings it together well. Nice touch with the Hammock i the fg. Good Work

Re: Seaside Serenity
I like the vacation house feeling in your shot. This is one of the shots where the busy feeling is an enhancement to the over all feel. I like the 'shot within the shot' centering on the hammock and its shadows on the post and railings. If you go back there, I think that shot taken at an angle that gave a quieter background would be pretty interesting.

Re: Seaside Serenity
I think you've done a marvellous job with this subject. I absolutely adore it. I love the fact that there is nobody around and the sea looks reasonably calm. Wonderful - no where are the holiday books.

Scott,
I just have to agree with the others above. What a great lesson in geometry that's pleasing on the eyes.

Re: Seaside Serenity
I wanta go there!
Hi Scott, nice photo. Vertical lines are nice and the feeling is good. I can almost smell the ocean breeze. B&W was a good choice. Good job!

Re: Seaside Serenity
Gary & Chunk.............The busy look was the main concern I had. It's nice to pass the Gary/Chunk test. :)
Roger, Tim, Dudley..........Thanks for the comments. The Seaside, FL area....over to Rosemary Beach, is a family favorite for a relaxing trip.
thanks,
Scott
