    Save the world
This is a bronze fountain in Naperville, IL. I think I like the color version best, but I got the cropping and DoF better in the 2nd (monochrome) image. C&C welcome.

The only real problem here is the light was so bad. If you can go back under better lighting conditions you might get something really good as the subject is good.
I actually prefer the first because the head isn't chopped but it isn't that big a deal.
The b/w seems to be lacking in contrast to me.
Good subject worthy of a return to me.

Thanks for the feedback. I plan to reshoot this when I get back from Connecticut next week. I'll probably shoot in the am, since the fountain is facing south and she's looking to the east slightly. I also want to crop that better and shoot at F7.1 instead of 4.0 in full color.

The monochrome may be flat because I forgot to take the polarizer off.

What do you think about having that arm in the left side of the 2nd image? Distracting?

I like the overall composition of the first one best. The color version with the limited dof is very good. The arm does bother me in the second image.
Shooting this again on an overcast day as you have composed it in the first image would be great.

I like the second one best also, but the top of her head is missing. Very nice work!

I think the black and white works rather well.
