    Sand dunes
What do you think of this? And what works best, b/w or colours?

I think you over did the intensity and contrast of these images but I would choose the color as the B&W has blown highlights.

BTW I really like the composition, if anything were to change I would like a bit more foreground.

    Color for me.

I like the sky but it may be a little too intense. The foreground waves in the sand are good, though not as defined as I would like. The middle area I am not as excited about. It seems washed out to me. I am not sure about the dunes either - they do not seem as interesting as the foreground waves or the sky. It is almost like there are three parts to the picture and two of them work. Perhaps if you decrease the contrast a little the dunes will show more detail.

I know it looks washed out, but I've been very careful. Lots of details disappear when I shrink it. It looks much better in large format. I'm going to print these in 100x70 cm, and there I think the motive comes to its right.

Though I can agree that the sand might be too bright in the B/W version. I've actually got two B/W versions, and this is the brightest. But like I said, it works much better in a large format.

GB1: I agree that the middle part is the most boring one, but I think that the other parts makes up for it, and there is a lot more details than in these small ones.

    Thank you for your opinions.
