    tower lane

    was my trip to calton hill in edinburgh any good?

    Hello Kitst3r,

    I like this one quite a lot. There is something magical about the way that tower is lightened and the contrast betwen the said tower and the sky. I think that the angle that you given to the path work well too. My only concern is that I would not have cropped that much at the bottom of the frame. I'd like to see the very bottom of the fence (but that's just me).

    Yes, I like this. The Tower looks magical lit up through the dark path and against the blue sky. I agree with Seb about wanting to see the bottom of the post in the foreground. That would have made it complete. But still a very good composition. By the way, Welcome

    Wow! I think this is a terrific shot! 2 perspectives, one walking up to the building and the other of the tower above. The lighting is very nice and really highlights the features of the tower. Absolutely beautiful in my book!
