I agree with payn...Looks like a postcard from somewhere in New England.

I also liked the way u captured the sailboat. Was it taken down at Ontario Place?

Beautiful capture of a beautiful vessel. I wasn't sure about the colour of the sky drifting into the sea, separated by only a very fine horizon but the more I look at it now the more I like it, very level!

    Thanks for sharing

    Thanks, appreciate all the feedback.

    barb_48,
no it wasn't that far west. It was in between Spadina & Yonge. Probably around University.

    Leels

Beautiful capture and I think it all works.

A very minor not pic is the building roof at the stern of the boat. Can it be cloned out?

Yes Roger it could be cloned out no problem. Good attention to detail by the way, I didn't even see that till now. The only problem I see with cloning it out is that half of it lies above the horizon and the other half below. So it might be tough to make it look very natural because I'm not really sure what the water would look like there.

    Re: Sailboat

    Leels,

When I lined up the horizon with the rest of the picture it lands right at the base of the building so all sky would look okay.

It must have been an optical illusion. I just checked it and you're right it's right on.

    Re: Sailboat

Quite nicely done. My exp has been that it's a lot harder to get good boat shots that it appears, and you've created a very elegant composition here. I like the neutral colors.

A model in some colourful clothing would add a great deal to that shot.

I totally agree - this ship, composition and background colors would make an excellant prop for a fashion shoot (!!!)
