I think this one works. Everything seems to be placed nice and it has a nice mood to it.

I think it could be cropped in closer, eliminating some from the top and left. I don't like the vid cams on the tripods there, but you can't control everything.

I was thinking the same thing, take out the brightest adverts from top and left.

A longer lens would've done wonders here. It's a great pose and wonderfully illustrative expression, but my eye is drawn to the AAA sign before finding the subject of the photo.

The lonely viewer…these shots often have potential, only in this case there are too many distractions in the background and the cameras interfere with the main subject too, they only create confusion and distraction.

Then there’s of course other issues like sharpness, lighting, noise, etc. But still a thumb up for noticing the potential.

It captures the emotion very well. The blue sign in the background is a little distracting.

Thanks all. I had to use a pretty shallow DOF due to low light .. the ISO was already 1250 or something, my camera's effective limit, so it was hard to get everything super sharp.

Yeah, I agree that there are significant distractions in the shot. But at the same time I don't think it would be a very interesting shot of just her, at least in this low light. The lights and signs sort of create a mood, like how sadness can exist even in a dynamic, glowing environment. What do you do if the environment overwhelms the subject though? I am not sure.. the easiest thing is to just not take the photo, but then you have nothing. One of those dilemmas.
