    Rust on Rust
Going for texture and detail here. Does the images suffer from lack of a central point of focus?

Nice picture old timer, you've definetely accomplished your goal of getting a lod of texture and detail here.

I don't think that the image suffers from lack of a central point. However my eyes keep getting pulled to the shadow casted on the ground from what it looks to be a plant.

Other then that I like the picture. :)

I think the idea is good but the composition suffers. The leaves (shadows??) are a distraction and the bullseye composition isn't strong enough to pull it off. If you scroll down so the top half of the picture is covered, I think it is already getting stronger. Had you moved in to have just the lower right quadrant of this shot in the viewfinder I think it would have worked... the different shape of the bolt and the distinctive shadows of the bolt and chain would become strong graphic elements. The differences in color and texture between the chain and iron sheet would also be stronger.

Yeah, I think that's better. The bolts shadow gives us an anchor and the blue highlights in the chain add a nice complement to the orange rust.
