    Re: Run Away

I like that the pillars, lights, and the lines of the stones all lead us into the image, towards where the people are. The bike and open door provide something of interest on the way to the people. I wish the people were a little better lit, though. The bit of blue flare on the first light is also a little distracting.

completely OT, but I like the owl animation in your signature.

I think you should clone the cowboy hat.

Love the edited one - it's very interesting! Love the fact you have no vignetting there - drives me NUTS when people don't fix that!

    Re: Run Away

I actually liked the first one better - minus the cowboy hat. The second version is too light and emphasizes the fuzziness of the people in the shot. I prefer the dark, moody lighting of the first shot.

The best part of this for me...was the timing.I'm sorry,I missed the boat on this one...I won't bore you all with another edit.

Seriously though,What bothers me is the lack of sharpness on the subjects. The fuzziness is a result of in-camera NR set to HIGH.I'm walking around in darkness (F/7.1) with-out a tripod, hoping the AF will catch this guy cleanly as he runs away. The odds were against me...Can't print this one.

That being said...It's candid split second grab / no camera adjustment.

I encourage more chop-it-up critique on this.I can take it!

I'm in it to learn, maybe to be prepared for " the shot "
