    Robin in the snow

    I caught this one a few weeks ago.. I'm wondering if its good for print. I need to print some stuff out.
    I'm sure my editing need some help. It wasnt a very clear day so lighting was not on my side.

    I agree the robin looks a little soft. On my monitor there looks to be pink cast on the snow. Could be my monitor. Composition wise you have some crop options that would help. ie not having the bird dead center. The way you shot this gives you lots of crop options. You couldn't print it very big but a small print might work. I really like the contrast of the Spring Robin and Snow. Keep shooting! Looking forward to seeing more of your pictures. If you took this hand-held in low light with anytype of zoom you are going to have issues with getting small objects like birds to come out sharp. I use a monopod and still have trouble getting small items at full focal (300 mm) in sharp focus when using my telephoto lens.

    Thanks MoneyWrench...

    I was shooting hand held.., and to boot through 2 pains of windex drenched glass lol..
    I tried setting up my tripod at the window Ive been shooting from, but the birds keep seeing me more so then if Im going hand held..the yare smarties.
