    Did you use the flash on this? Very effective without being too noticeable. I really like the emphasis on the fg element and the blurred rider going by. The hole punched in the upper right corner by the bright sky is alittle bit distracting but not too bad.

    Yes, fill flash with about a -1 setting.

    If you caught it a split second earlier and with an angle from your tight looking back (without the sky), this would be killer.

    I like this one. It's a biking shot but it's not exclusively a biking shot. The lines from the stem and the path intersect interestingly and the placement of the rider is fine within the frame. Do you make your wife wait to ride by until you've got it set up? Hooray for cooperative and patient spouses!

    My only chance to get a shot like this is to race ahead of her far enough to set up before she comes along. I get one shot (and it better be right) then quickly hop back on the bike and chase her down.

    OTOH I have had lots of practice.......
