    rest stop #26

Tried this yesterday but remote needed some new batteries. Fortunately the rain predicted today didn't show. I only wish I'd sat a little closer

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I wish you were a little closer too., but I like it. The fall colors are very nice. Good work Frog.

    Re: rest stop #26

Thanks himnx and Greg. I think if I was positioned in front of the green patch just after the 26 I wouldn't blend into bg so much.
There's a big version in gallery and you can actually tell I'm with my dog.

Somehow, I put the camera on multiple exposure when setting it to use the remote and I ended up with 184 shots with very minor differences. Will be working on and choosing some in which we are walking.

i like it as it is. Any closer I think you would lose the mystery of what's going on here.

Beautiful color and great composition here, Frog. I love how you placed the track leading our eye out into the colorful foliage.
I too wish you were closer to camera as it is hard to tell who or what you are especially with all the dazzling color. Your getting lost in it.
I think you would need to be sitting in the right lower third portion of the frame to really make this work. Having you near the foreground with your dog would make an impact here.

I agree with moving closer. I think ideally I'd like to see you right about where the big pile of leaves tapers off to nothing between the tracks, which would put you in about the same area as Gary suggested. Love the color and composition though, everything else in this shot is spectacular!

Very cool shot! I agree I'd like to see you a lot closer. The colors look slightly oversaturated to me,

Thank you for looking and the feedback livin, Gary, jetrim and Anbesol.

No boost to saturation, though I might have boosted contrast a hair.
