It doesn't matter to me if it works or not but I really appreciate those who have the time to work on photo projects regardless of the subject.

These animals are either going into the light to face their fate or they are WATCHING THE SUPER BOWL ROOTING FOR THE COLTS!!!! YEAH BABY!!!!

I would like to see the same set up with one animal with the shadow of the object more of a player in the photo. It could be a project demonstrating composition, grayscale, and contrast.

This photo looks interesting but I'm not sure what is saying artistically.

    Maybe...it's just me.

the problem i have is just in the right side where the edge of the posterboard meets the edge of the lightbox. its a little distracting

what works in this shot is how the animals all seem drawn into the light "like a deer in headlights".

but all in all (not like i said much) i like this shot. lights in the background are different but i like it.
I don't want it, I just need it...to breath ...to feel ...to know I'm alive.

the animal on the left should be looking into the light.. not stopping for a graze..

the shadows make them look like they are all advancing (being drawn) into the light.. the one on the left is the odd one out.. it kinda spoils the effect a little ..

Nicely done, I like the horse who's bowing to the flash god and the way the shadows add dynamics to the photo.

I also like the order you placed the animals in.

now thats an angle i hadnt thought of.. but now i see it.. it kinda makes the one on the right with its head held high the odd one out.. it make me think of an alien abuction scene..

    This. Is. AWESOME!

It looks like the cow in the middle is disapearing into the light already while the others wait to be “taken”. This may not be perfect technically (high contrast, a little too soft) but it gets an A++ on uniqueness and creativity. Damn. I wish I thought of things like that.

I tend to agree with Trog. But I like the overall idea, and would love to see more like this. Seems your B&W conversions are missing something though. Not enough mid-tone or contrast. How do you convert?? I hope to see more like this.

Re: flash and plastic animals... WORKS or NOT.!

Thanks a lot for the kind comments..

to answer some of the questions

Troy: what I see is a bunch of plastic animals and a flash, but If I let my imagination fly a bit I can give life to the animals and believe that the flash is a UnonFO for them and they start walking to it and onces they are a bit closer than in the picture the UnonFO makes some weird noise and the animals get scare and run away from it.
Unfortunately because they are plastic animals and I can't change there shape it was not possible for me to make a picture when they are running away from the flash..;)

Greg: I just took saturation off till the image become B&W.

*UnonFO = Unknown non Flying Object
