    Flying Flower

I went for a walk this afternoon at a near by lake. A particular species of tree is dropping its' spring flowers. At first I thought this little beauty was a falling flower but upon a second look realized what a treat it really was. Other than a crop to eliminate a dead tree branch from the right and bit of sharpening, this is the real deal.

Nice catch. It looks like the butterfly is fairly sharp against the blurred background. How does this look at a larger size?

    Great capture, but.....

My problem is that you have the butterfly right smack dab in the middle of the frame.

Crop that baby somehow to move it into one of the thirds.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    MB,

Yeah, I know. The reality of the situation is that even in the original there just isn't anything to help offset the lonliness of the vast open space. I cropped it already to remove a dead branch that really added nothing to the shot. I'll play around with it. I posted it more just to show the butterfly in flight than anything else. But, I understand what you are saying.

    Thanks for the comments, however.
