I Like the Saturation in the sky. You should try and get a shot with one of the shells smoking out of the chamber.

They come out bloody fast. Were it fully automatic, I might be able to pull it off. As a semi, I am not sure how I would time it other than by pure luck.

Too bad that cloud wasn't lined up with the muzzle (or whatever it is) so it's smokin' ... and I hope you have "good" neighbors!

Auto, didn't know you could legally have those. I guess once she starts shooting, her upper body's gonna start moving, so it's gonna be tuff. What was your shutter speed?

You can legally own a fully auto, but you have to be licensed for it which I am not. Scary sound when those go off.

Assuming you are on a range or safe place you might try the Following: To get a shell casing in the air set your camera to the fastest continious exposure rate, and have her fire off a full mag as fast as she can while you are shooting your camera as fast as you can. Since the rifle appears to be a 5.56mm (.223) if she will lean into the weapon slightly and pull down with her left hand and arm, the recoil and movement should be minimized. If you get the shell casing the smoke from the muzzle will be there, and as an added bonus maybe some muzzle flash. Just make sure you take all possible safety precautions and the double check them.

As to the pose I would like to see more of her face.

Yeah, I will likely do more shots like this eventually. Trying to get the shells coming out would be cool. I you are shooting fast with the camera it should be possible. It would be nice to get a bit more forward angle on the other side, but there are limits to the safety of that.
