I think the highlights may be blown out here but the composition is fantastic, I'd just like more color.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: range?

This is really cool, is this a crop or did you frame it like this in camera?

Anyway the tones look a little flat, I'd try upping saturation and contrast a smidgen.

Very cool shot. More color would help, but they might not be present in the subject so it might not be possible.

Cool composition. If you could tone done the highlights I think it would help out quite a bit.

    Re: range?

    Thanks to all for comments.
This is not a crop. is a full frame.
I have not saturated the colors so as not to alter the natural ones. They are very light
I enclose a picture from behind the peacock to show the natural colors
    Hello and thanks again

I actually like he first shot the way it is. As an abstract it reminds me of the ornaments on the "art deco" buildings in Miami

    Re: range?

    Franco,

Magnifico! Great composition and pattern, it almost gets me dizzy. It may be a little blown out at the bottom of the feathers, but not fatally - it still works. It may also have just a little too much contrast. Otherwise, a very successful image.

    Re: range?

I did not want to give more contrast because I thought the colors dialterare too real. The photo probably would have improved, but it was not natural
