I'm not a fan of selective color but it seems to work here. The water drop doesn't stand out at this angle. I wonder what it would look like if it was rotated 90 degrees

Just out of curiousity, what camera do you have? My Canon A630 has the selective coloring option on it....

My Nikon D70s doesn't though.... I use my Canon more for my "every day" shots because it is alot easier to quick pull out and snap those quick shots.

I am shooting with a Canon PowerShot S3 IS. My "other" camera is a 27 year-old Canon A1 - I sure wish I could have that "converted" to a digital....

Interesting effect. Truthfully, I had to really look for the drop. It just doesn't stand out.

    I like this shot.

The drop of water is lost in the photo............don't know if a different angle would have helped.

I think the drop of water doesn't stand out because the focus is a little soft. I also think the color of the flower is a bit too grey/green. The selective color doesn't do anything for me at all-if the background is green that would be better than grey.
