    Kitty

I wasn't trying to anything special, just a record of our friends' 12 cats and newest kitten.
But I think a few stand out.
Next step is cropping, any ideas to improve them?
I'm wondering about selective level adjustment as well, to bring out the mother & kitten from the dark background.

I think you haven't gotten a comment because the (flash) lighting on these is a bit harsh. That, the backgrounds, and the color of the cats combines to produce an overall result that is a nothc or two below what we usually see from you. I think #3 shows the most promise. A little sharpness and levels could help a lot. Next time, get them outside and you'll get some nice photos.

Image #1, If this were mine, I'd clone out part of the green/white blanket on the top, and then crop off the excess, just above the mother cats ear, i don't think this shot was these kitty's best angle...

Image #2 I find this to be the strongest Compositionally, Would of liked to see more of the kittens face and get rid of the object in the bottom left hand side by cropping it out...Maybe even change the whole image to black and white (this is mostly because I am anti-burgundy)

Image #3 makes this look like a neglected kitten, teary eyed and also the white is too white on the bottom left hand side.
