Re: potpourri..
I dont know about #2
but I like #1. I would try some color enhancement on #1 but it's good as is too

Re: potpourri..
two is more for humour than critique..i left the pale colour and slight under exposure deliberately..

Re: potpourri..
my first camera was a petri! My Dad bought it in the Navy! I really liked it, but the mirror inside was all messed up, so I switched to a minolta x-370.
I like the DOF in number 1... and number 2 is cute. :)

Re: potpourri..
The floral almost works for me but I want a little more brightness in there and the overall reddish cast to the image seems like color imbalance.

Re: potpourri..
it was a place i rented for the week not long back MB1.. the fake flowers are made of some kind of cloth.. not much colour and with a strange faded look to them.. the shot was taken at night with low tungsten lighting..
it has captured an air of what the places actually looked like.. kinda warm and cozy.. it did look different again thow in daylight..
it was called Lavender cottage.. which kinda says it all..
