    Portrait

Any suggestions on these? Does the fact that I cut off her hands in the first photo detract? I suck at knowing what to do with hands.

Cutting off her hand is fine, you may even want to cut off more for a more portrait aspect ratio.

Pretty nice shots there. At first I thought the first one had too much color in the bg, but then I see that the curves in the graffiti point the subject out. (This isn't in Little Five Points in Atlanta, is it?)
The second is perhaps a bit stronger as a portrait, for me at any rate. It does focus on her face and the reflection supports very well. Maybe clone out the bubble (I think its a bubble in the glass) above her shoulder in the reflection, but thats not a deal breaker.

yeah, that bubble annoys me. the mirror here is a big silver trailer, a Cupcake Vendor in downtown Austin. The bubble is a bolt.

    Thanks for the advice!

Agree w/ Anbesol. Crop first one up to where it eliminates jeans and white t-shirt hanging out, which will give more of an 8x10 ratio and cut her arm midway between the wrist and elbow. Second shot is an easy clone on the button if it's bothering you (doesn't me)

Hello. Cool shots and idea. I think the first one may be more striking without the window but still nice.
