    Plant Euharlee @ Night
Old subject but a new angle. Shot from a cornfield behind the plant. What do you think?

I tried to find something I didn't like but failed.
I think even the empty foreground works great to isolate the plant.

It is an interesting image, Greg. I like the twilight color of the sky and the stars. The smoke is heavy and I wish I could easily see all the stacks, but the slow shutter made for an interesting effect with it.

This is interesting Greg and good to look at. Personally I feel the shutter speed is too slow and that the smoke would look far better in it's natural state if you like. Possible you have some faster speed shots you could show us.

Thanks Frog, Gary, Tom, Thanks as well. Yes I wish the wind had been blowing the other way to show the stacks. I will most likely go back and try again. Maybe a slower shutter speed too. This one was 20secs.

ive been meaning to stop near a power plant i drive past all the time, but have been waiting for good weather/sky. i never even though to take one at dusk. i like this one, i think the steam movement really makes the picture.

how long of an exposure was this?

Thanks Tyson, Dylan it was 20secs, F/8 and 200iso. 20sec seems to catch the stars fine.

Wow. I love it. What a unique way to shoot a plant like that. I'll have to find a place out here so I can copy the idea.

Thanks Doc, racedraper. This is in a very small community. Though the cops have left me alone I have been followed by plant security a couple of times. Watching me from a distance.
