    Pictures of children in Uganda
    Hey, just wanted to see what you all thought of these pictures, i dont have a name for them yet but i took them in uganda. i also wanted to mention that i am a begginer photogropher and iam not sure if this is considered "cheating" or whatever but on my windows photo gallery i change the contranst brightness and tint on some of my pictures.

    You shot these looking down at the kids creating a pretty static and harsh image.

    Often images or children are more effective if the photographer shoots from their level.

    Still, these are quite interesting.

    First one is great. Agree with MB, but I think the harsh look he mentioned (courtesy of the angle, expressions, and PP) is definitely appropriate there. The angle itself is, to me, illustrative of the oppressive environment. Harsh depiction of a harsh reality. I'm glad you didn't go the route of the typical little kid shot.

    Very nice work - really tells a story. Ya got any more?

    They all work in my opinion. As draymorton said, harsh depiction of a harsh reality.
