    The Bridge

For some reason I took a liking to this photo after shooting it a few weeks ago. I'm not sure why, but it has a composition I seem to like as well as a tonality that's saturated but not disgusting to the eyes. I'd like to hear what's bad about this photo, since ultimately my goal is to improve composition and shot-taking in settings such as this one.

--Cibachrome: It's like printing on gold.

    Re: The Bridge

I like the composition with the bridge curving away leading my eye into the pic. The walkers adda point of interest.
The not so good: The lighting conditions.....early morning or evening would give softer richer color. I think you should crop out just about all of the sky as it really adds nothing. Either just above the trees or I think I'd prefer no sky at all. I think you could crop some of the bottom, too, but haven't figured out where.
    Keep Shooting!

I, also, would crop down to the top of the trees and I would take the bottom up at least to where the lower rail on the left is in the corner of the shot. - TF

Yeah, this was taken a little after noon. The trees lit up far too much for my tastes but there's not much to do about the lighting itself in photoshop.

The cropping suggestions are good, as they happen to yield a 4:3 format if done successfully.
