I'm afraid to ask.........................................what is focus stacking??
tr,
I looked at this once, left, and came back to look again. I really like your angle, and I like the DOF. I like the worn, rag-tag look of the piano with its keys such as they are. I like the blurry detail above the piano. It's blurry enough to fit the scene, but yet defined enough to know what it probably is - with one exception. You have a lot of dark with no detail -- which I like in this case -- except for that v shaped whatever it is. That bugs me, and that bright circle of light in the background needs to go away, IMHO.
Great work!

I love this one pretty much as is. I do agree with Paula that the little super white dot should be either toned down or cloned out, but unlike her I enjoy the little splash of color to the right. I think you have a real winner here. No need for focus stacking because the shallow depth of field really sets the mood.
Focus stacking is taking the same shot with different points of focus (usually working front to rear) so that you can stack the images on top of each other to achieve one shot that is in sharp focus all the way through.
I like the shot as originaly posted, but that is just my opinion. Very creative, and well done
