Pet Pictures

Okay, I am not used to posting in this forum, usually over in the sports area. But I got a new Canon 580exII flash yesterday, so I was testing it out, and practicing...

So of course I took pictures of my newest family member....

In a world full of cats, and being that I am not a cat person, take what my thoughts as a grain of salt. :)
The two things that bother me right off the bat, is the cropped head and the cropped hand over to the right. The out of focus hand bothers me too. I like the detail around the eyes and nose , so if it where me, I would try a tight head crop.http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/80/cashresizedel7.jpg

BFired, the key words were practicing and testing. Looks like you have a good camera to work with. Now it's just a matter of refining your pet phototgraphy skills.:D
