    Very nice job here arne. DoF works quite well and the tonal variations are quite pleasing. Great composition too!

    Nice macro !

    Did you used a tripod ?
    if so I would have used a lower ISO to lower the noise in the out of focus areas
    there is some small square grid visible in the out of focus area, which I have not seen before

    Thanks! I did use a tripod, but I will need to watch the ISO, as you say.
    But I do not see the grid. Can you direct me as to where it is?

    Yeah it is pretty nice. It is hard to find that one spot of hard focus that these shots need, but my eyes are bad, and I find it hard to do this kind of dof work. This is a good shot as far as my vision can tell.

    Fun DOF. I think one of them should be super sharp, but the textures and various dark and light areas really makes for a nice shot.

    I love the subject, but wish that the foremost two peppers were a little sharper just for the amazing detail and structure of the seeds.
