OK, it's time to post this one and see what you have to say about it. :)

Very nice kelly. This is my favorite that you've posted since I returned to these boards a short while ago. And since I'm finally commenting on one of your photosgraphs I want to tell you how intrigued I am with your avatar. I picture you being a really fun and bright person. It also reminds me of Kermit the Frog :)

Anyway, I like your vision in this photo.

    Thank you, Trevor. :)

Well it depends on what you mean by "fun". I'm not a rowdy fun kind of person. I'm fun in more of an Ellen DeGeneres way, kind of a quiet mischievous finding what's funny about life way. I've discovered that I generally look far more serious than I am, and that's why I was thrilled with this photo. I think it captures who I am underneath.

I've been ill lately so I don't think my personality has come across very well on these boards in the past few weeks. Hopefully I'll feel better soon and I'll be back to my clearer-thinking self.

Nice image!, quick comment the moon looks to bright, would it be possible to make it more..well.....moonlike, not a sun?

i like the way the reflection of the moon eluminates the bench slightly... only thing is its a nightmare trying to get detail in the moon and ability to have the rest of the photo looking good... so its normal to end up with a really bright moon and a nice photo or a detailed moon and a dark as dark photo...

nice though... i like it :)

    Hi Kelly
This is wonerful. At first I was thinking it was too vertical, but I think it works well here.
The color in this is really intriguing. Love the reflection on the water.
Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. :( Hope you're feeling good soon!

    All the best,

Very nice mood. I like the subtle color throughout the scene. At first I thought I wanted it taken from a higher viewpoint so all the bench would be silhouetted, but now I think that would make the color of the bench less obvious.

    Hi Kelly,
I really like this image, it's soooo quiet. We don't get to see as much of the moon as we do the sun. I love the reflections and the color.
    Please feel better soon.

The empty bench motif doesn't usually hold my interest, but yours is done well. There is a a lot more detail and color under the moonlight than I might have expected. Compositionally, too, it seems like a harder picture to find and compose than you might think of at first glance.

Ohhh, I see what you're saying about the color. Actually, this was taken at a public park along Lake Michigan, so the foreground color you're seeing is from a street lamp. I have gotten similar colors under moonlight without streetlights, but never so much detail. There was a streetlight behind me when I took this. I was a couple feet away from a major road. (and some people nearly walked in front of me and ruined the shot!)

It looks indeed very peaceful, almost looks some piece of art. Not too dark, not to bright either.
Personally I would crop the photograph at the top, because I like it less 'stretched', just a personal preference.

Most definitely one of your better shots, well done!
