    10th birthday

Found the original documentation for my car... and when I found out it's birthday I decided it needed some pictures to how how well she has aged. Made late in the model year and still in great shape.

I bring you... '99 Eclipse Spyder

Nice shots. I really like the crops. It looks like you really take care of it.

I like the first and third shots best due to the distracting background in # 2 but I do think the first could have benefited from some fill flash to bring out the color more. You did a great job with the angles and with managing reflections on all three though.

I like the second one best for the more even exposure. First is too dark to bring out her color and exposure fades out on her right front in third.
I don't find the bg distracting in the second and think all your compositions are very good.
Its not hard to figure out when someone loves their car.

    Re: 10th birthday

Thanks guys... yeah I love my car. My mother in law thinks it is for picking up women... I prefer to think I use it more to show the world the woman that already caught me =)

The reason I left the first one slightly under exposed is to show the range of colour in the paint. It is a red pearl so it can show itself to be reddish, purple, black, even brown under very flat light. I did shoot some with a flash and I am working on a few different "poses" that I specifically shot for making an HDR. I have not had the time to compile them yet.
